Ramona was able to attend a beginning wood working class at a local farm The Farmer and Adele. The class learned how to use many tools and built a small side table. Ramona is excited to build a farm table for her next project. I see a wood shop in our near future. I guess I'll add it to the farm wish list.

We were busy on the farm prepping beds for the season. Thanks to Kevin and Nancy we have a nice rototiller to prep the 50' x 100' beds. I tell you what it would have been a little easier if we had a small tractor. I guess I'll add that to the farm wish list. For the remaining beds we will be covering them with silage tarps. The tarps kill the grass/ weeds and provide a clean bed for the crops. The best part its less work and no chemicals are used. We added leaves to the beds and 20 yards of compost arrives tomorrow. The leaves and compost will help with improving the soil
